Artist's Description
When I had my home and studio in the British Properties in West Vancouver, I had an acre of trees and luscious bushes of huge rhododendrons. These are the very first blooms in my garden in 1986. These are astoundingly huge flower blossoms that are the size of volleyballs. You just can't imagine the beauty of a huge tree full of these all at one time! Also this is the first of many paintings I created of this magnificent bloom. This is transparent watercolor on paper

Have you ever seen a more beautiful flower? Even roses have a lot of competition with the amazing rhododendron.
