Such a poignant photo, Andrew. My father was a couple generations older when I was born. While a longtime bachelor he'd been a railroad man for years, and loved to spend time telling us kids about his days spent as a fireman on the steam locomotives. If he were still alive, seeing the decline of the railways would break his heart. This beautiful scene makes me think of Arlo Guthrie's song ''City of New Orleans''. Thank you for sharing something precious. v/f
