This painting makes me happy!! The colors are really fun and, like his other pieces I own, expertly painted. I want to live in this cottage and walk into the ocean. Ordered it on canvas - well executed. Thank you for the smiles!

Artist's Description
We travelled about 50 miles on this road from Apgar to Logan Pass. It was the most beautiful drive ever!! You get sweeping views of the mountains and Montana back country ruggedness.
At the top of Logan Pass it turned from sun into a down pour of rain and streaks of lightening.
All of my images are processed in HDR. For best and brightest image I recommend printing on metal. If you are interested in framing a print I recommend the following papers:
Picture Rag (low texture),
Sumerset Velvet (medium texture)
Watercolor (heavy texture).

About Spencer McDonald
I am a resident of Snohomish, Washington. Have lived in Washington and Snohomish County since 1989. I am a transplant from Southern California. When out in the City I prefer either my 50mm for street life, or my walk around 24-70mm for the city architecture. I also own a high...

Thank you to Charles and Betsy for stopping by to see my Montana image of Road to the Sun. Loved this adventure and am so grateful for the opportunity to capture these photographs from inside Glacier National Park.

I love the perspective, the capture of height and 'danger' of the curve... excellent!

I realized a dream when I took the Road to the Sun several years ago. We took the red limo once, and the regular bus another day. Oh, the joy to do it twice in one week! This captures the view perfectly! Hearty f/l, Spencer.
