It was a gift for a friend who has worked on these rigs. It’s now in his own company facility. He loves it.
This is the Roaring Fork Stream behind (east) of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. This is one of the last bridges that cross it before it reaches Gatlinburg City limits and flows into Cliff Branch along River Road then later becoming part of the Little Pigeon River through Pigeon Forge, TN. Up to 1935 Roaring Fork was also a small town of about two dozen families and included a store, a church, a blacksmith, carpenter and several very small mills. Most of the families moved to Gatlinburg when the area was made a national park in 1935, but a few stayed on only to leave later when they found it to hard to go on in such a remote area without the assistance of the full community.
I have been taking photos now for 40 plus years. I started with a Kodak Instamatic 126 camera. I even got some good photos with it to my surprise. I then moved on to a Minolta SLR's which I had for many years. Next came point and shoot 35mm cameras from mid range to higher end. I finally ended my 35mm shooting with a top of the line Minolta 9xi. Then it was on to Digital Point and shoot cameras to higher end point and shoots as they got better and that leads to my current camera, a Nikon D3300. I am very pleased with this camera and as you should see it takes very nice photos. I am about to make another step up in camera's to a full frame, mirror-less for my next one.
