My general philosophy on photography: It's an ugly world, but it's really important to me to try to show beauty where it isn't normally perceived, which is why I have taken photos of snow, frozen raindrops, decaying leaves, weeds from my yard, etc. When looked at closely enough, they are all quite beautiful. More specifically, I'm interested in expressionism, not just conveying a subject, but conveying how the subject makes me feel.
