Rokku Gyaru (Rock Gal) is a subcategory of Japanese gyaru fashion and lifestyle that incorporates elements of goth, rock and visual kei. This is one of the gyaru styles that does not require tanning, and is noticeably different from the standard gyaru styles.
The style is characterized by many blacks, leather, chains, nails, skulls and crossbones, gothic writing, rips, holes and stripes. The makeup is heavier, sometimes with shimmering shadows. Piercings and tattoos are commonly seen with Rokku Gyaru.
Hair colors range from black and white to bright blonde and unnatural colors such as pink, purple and blue.
