Ron Santo Chicago Cubs Statue.
This photograph finished in 2nd place in the Your Favorite Baseball Hero contest on 10-02-2013, sponsored by the FAA group American Baseball. The group Administrator is FAA member Jeremiah Colley. 
There were 45 photographs entered in the contest.
The Cubs won back-to-back World Series championships in 1907 and 1908, becoming the first major league team to play in three consecutive World Series, and the first to win it twice.
The Cubs have appeared in a total of eleven World Series as of 2016.
