This piece is a tribute to the significance of the father's/parent's role in the life of our children. A House will crumble if it does not have a strong foundation, a plant will not blossom or grow if it's roots are not grounded or fed the proper nutrients. Here... the son sits in the comfort and protection of his father's lap as he is being taught for the golden book of knowledge. The father is nuturing and feeding his son so that he has a strong foundation for the challenges of life that are to come.
