Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I love this print! Her dress is so pretty and victorian and I can daydream that this is me in another lifetime , contemplating life while visiting the sea

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. A big thank you for your talent & putting out there to buy your beautiful map!!!

Just exactly what I was looking for. Next time I’m in SFO, I’ll be sure to wear flowers in my hair! Thank you so much for bringing back all those memories.

Artist's Description
There's a certain amount of random chance to any photograph taken outside of a studio. But there was a tiny bit of planning on my part when capturing this beautiful moment at the monastic ruins of Ross Errilly Friary in County Galway, in the west of Ireland.
I visited these ruins on a tour bus in winter. There were only a small handful of people along with me taking in these wilds of Connemara. The people with me were in another part of the old medieval monastery. I happened to overhear birds shuffling about in some hidden spot in the walls. I thought just maybe my colleagues in the next room over might startle the birds out of hiding and I framed this shot and waited.
It turned out to be a precious few seconds wait before the birds took to the skies, and my attempt to capture their flight paid off as you can see by their flight across the skies over the roofless monastery.
I did think I might get this chance, but truly it was very much a moment of chance. Th...
About Mark E Tisdale
Life is full of happy surprises. After just over a decade working in the 9 to 5 cube world, I threw caution to the wind to follow my dreams of being a full time visual artist. That was five years ago! Is it easy? No, but something truly worthwhile is rarely simple. My body of work is wide ranging from photographic scenes of far away places, more near and dear locations, and more fanciful artwork. It's all crafted with a heartfelt love for finding the beauty in little captured moments. My artwork also hangs on walls near and far from private homes to businesses who have chosen to decorate with my art. Whether you've purchased one piece or a house full or you simply admire and share with your friends, your patronage of my art is...

Love the view through the window as well as the birds overhead. I also toured Ireland. It's difficult to keep someone from walking into your shot, but here was just the opposite...waiting for the birds. I've enjoyed this gallery of amazing photos.

I spent a month there but it was winter, so I may not have had quite the same challenges if you went in the regular season! I do remember one particular spot on Inis Mor though where my small group arrived at the same time as a bus load of people! Our guide was so kind. He told us after that stop he was reversing his normal route so we wouldn't overlap with the other group again. LOL Anyway, so glad you enjoyed my work! =D
