I painted this abstract action painting of marathon runners in late 1990's. Goodness, how sports clothing styles have changed! Of all the marathons run around the world, the Boston Marathon is the most popular. The Boston Marathon is an annual marathon race hosted by several cities in greater Boston in eastern Massachusetts, United States. Established in 1897, it is traditionally held on Patriots' Day, the third Monday of April.
