Artist's Description

In 2008 I was invited by a friend to join him and some colleagues on a sailing trip to Croatia. There were eight of us altogether and we hired two yachts and a local guide for the week. This scene is made up from a series of photographs taken from both boats and merged to show them sailing together close hauled into the wind. On the last day we were joined by some dolphins, which I have included in the painting.
