This is one of the most creative photos of a spiraling staircase as you have done it in such an intimate way as to make me feel as if I am looking inside a seashell. Very well done. Congratulations on your sale. F

Thanks for your very kind comments everyone!

Love your presentation on this image. The grain adds a nice low key grittiness and make the stone palpable. Congrats on the sale.

It was really disappointed with the quality of the product. I am sure the artwork is lovely, but it did not show up well at all on the zipper bag. The picture is very hard to make out, seems too light and a little blurry. It might be that the material of the bag is not the best for putting images like this on, I'm not sure. But I know it does not look as clear and crisp as it does in the image/picture. I bought this as a gift, and I am not sure I am going to give it because I am a little embarrassed by the quality and that she won't be able to really tell what she is looking at without really giving it a really hard look or me explaining it to her. For example, in the image on Fine Art America one can clearly make out the Bay Shores, on the bag, you can barely read it. For the amount of money I spent, I was really hoping this would be a nice product that would be special to my mom.

Artist's Description

Steps leading down from one of the Sagrada Familia steeples - Gaudi's amazing architecture - Barcelona, Spain ..... The Basilica i Temple Expiatori de la Sagrada Familia (English: Basilica and Expiatory Church of the Holy Family), commonly known as the Sagrada Familia, is a large Roman Catholic church in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi (1852-1926). Although incomplete, the church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and in November 2010 was consecrated and proclaimed a minor basilica by Pope Benedict XVI. ..... Though the construction of Sagrada Familia commenced in 1882, Gaudi became involved in 1883, taking over the project and transforming it with his architectural and engineering style combining Gothic and curvilinear Art Nouveau forms. ..... Gaudi devoted his last years to the project, and at the time of his death in 1926, less than a quarter of the project was complete. Sagrada Familia's construction progressed slowly, as it relied on private do...

About Dave Bowman

Dave Bowman

As a photographer I like to be on the move, physically and technically, trying out new approaches and discovering new paths. I believe artists should continually challenge themselves and experiment in order to progress creatively and to keep ideas fresh and vital. My primary aim is to capture the essential quality of the experience before me at the very moment the shutter closes. I then allow the subject to dictate the precise levels of tone or colour required for the final image. These decisions are key to my creative process and something I find continually challenging and inspiring. Dave Bowman Photography
