About James Bryant
I started taking pictures in grade school, put my camera down in 1961 when I joined the Navy, and picked it up again when I retired. My black and white work has won awards in art shows held at the Torpedo Factory in Old Town Alexandria and the Art League in Annapolis. I also have been invited to display my work in art stores a restaurant. My professional life started with earning my Navy wings in 1962 along with a commission as an Ensign. I flew fixed wing aircraft from aircraft carriers as part of our task group's anti-submarine warfare mission. I retired a Commander in 1986. My second career started with an MSW from Catholic University of America. I became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 1993 and worked for Arlington...
