This was our first purchase from the site and we love it! It arrived quickly. We wanted something different for the guest bath and this art combined two of my husband's favorite things. The curtain has a quality feel to it and the design is bright I wasn't sure of the color combination at first (orangey red, navy, turquoise and a touch of black) but it works! We've received many compliments and chuckles. My only regret was not being able to fit the words on without using a border - I was unsure of the colors, etc. Bottom line is that we love what we received!!! LOVE it!

NICE.
Sailboats in a heavy fog in Maine. This is a morning scene taken just before the sun came up, while the cold air caused a deep fog over the harbor where the boats were anchored. It was a peaceful scene that soon disappeared as the warming morning sun cause the fog to part. The fog is so thick that the big boats quickly disappear in the distance. It’s a beautiful shot of a New England harbor in the early morning. This is a piece of digital art created from an original photograph, Sailboats in the Fog, Maine
I was interested in photography as a child, and my father had even bought me an enlarger so that I could set up a small darkroom in my bedroom at night. My plan was to develop the film and make prints to sell the next day. Unfortunately, I did not understand any of the settings, and of course the pictures did not come out. So went my first attempt at creating and selling photographs. When I went off to Yale, I planned on becoming a Nuclear Physicist. Later, an Economist. Then I re-discovered photography, traveling to Europe, the Canary Islands, Morocco,...

Love the texture of this one and I think it could easily hang in a museum and in someways reminds me of Monet's waterlillies... Ok everybody can start shooting me now ... :-) But I do like it! L6

David Perry Lawrence replied:
hi jack-- thanks for the continued compliments. your 'see the sound II' has very similar colors. hey! this is pretty much what it looked like thru the fog. i'm still intrigued (puzzled) how you get that swirling texture under the 'surface' of your work. really cool!
