This was a gift for my son-in-law for a new office. It was beautfully crafted and very unique. Being a history buff, my son in law spoke to the accuracy of the map/art. The website was easy to use and packaging/ delivery was top notch.

I have purchased 3 framed prints through Fine Art America and have been very pleased with the quality of all 3. This is the first time I've purchased a product where the picture has been reproduced on wood rather than paper. Perhaps I should have known, but the colours and vividness of reproduction on wood do not compare favorably to those on paper (or canvas). To me, the end product looks washed out. The overall quality of the product is otherwise good, but I wish I'd ordered a framed print instead.

This was actually much nicer than I expected it to be. The product is beautiful, the colors are beautiful and it looks hand painted. It was also packed very well to ensure no damage in shipment. This was a gift so I don’t have pictures but the recipient was overjoyed.

This was a present for my Niece. My sister had a similar print and wanted to be like her mommy. She was ecstatic opening it on Christmas!

Artist's Description

Diane Stevenett created the "Harnessing the Wind/Sails, Kites, & Flags" Series starting in April of 2010, celebrating her NEW WORKS on Earth Day at Casa Magazine Gallery, in Santa Barbara, CA. Talking about her inspiration, Stevenett says: I was parked by the beach one day, and I couldnt believe the kinetic energy! Wind is one of the elements of nature that creates vibrational energy. Its invisible, but it can influence so much. One minute these guys are up in the air and the next the kite is crumpled up under their arm. Its exhilarating. Stevenett returned the next day with her sketchpad and continued developing the series over the last year, so it would be ready in time to celebrate Earth Day, 2010. She continues work on her series, "Harnessing Wind" with drawings on paper, digital drawings printed on Metal, and Oil on Canvas.
