Good grocery or farmer's market bag. I feel the artist's name should be displayed on the product.

I love my new bag. It is so beautiful. I work in schools with children who have hearing loss and they love my bag. I get to share information about hearing loss with teachers in the school when they ask about the lovely picture. I also tell them about Ms. Soares. Thanks for sharing her story. It makes the picture even more unique. I had a difficult time choosing from all the options just related to hearing but fell in love with all of her offerings on this site. The quality of the bag is great also.

I purchased this for a gift and the recipient was blown away. The artistry is alive in this bag with Frida. Perfect!

Artist's Description

This artwork is inspired by a statue of Saint John of The Cross which I saw and painted on site in Salamanca during a painting trip through teh centre of Spain in October 2013. Saint John of the Cross (Spanish: San Juan de la Cruz; 1542 – 1591), was a major figure of the Counter-Reformation, a Spanish mystic, a Roman Catholic saint, a Carmelite friar and a priest who was born at Fontiveros, Old Castile. John of the Cross was a reformer of the Carmelite Order and is considered, along with Saint Teresa of Ávila, as a founder of the Discalced Carmelites. He is also known for his writings. Both his poetry and his studies on the growth of the soul are considered the summit of mystical Spanish literature and one of the peaks of all Spanish literature. He was canonized as a saint in 1726 by Pope Benedict XIII. He is one of the thirty-five Doctors of the Church

About Miki De Goodaboom

Miki, a long short story... Miki is a professional French artist, born in the Pyrenees, Her works have been sold and published worldwide. Her painting is a reflection of her life: a permanent oscillation between light and shadow, lines and shapes, times and places, always looking for that equilibrium which she can only find in continuous movement, in the mysterious and the unknown. A life divided between two passions: mathematics and painting. The first as a supreme form of abstract art ruling her universe... The second as a way of cementing the beauty of that art. Miki, about herself: "... Passionate. Impatient. Unappeasable, uncontrollable! I prefer dancing on a volcano rather than to sit at home! I love the...
