I have a building that is rented by an Auto Glass Company on one side and a Muffler Shop on the other. I chose this picture to hang in the entry way on the Auto Glass side.

I had to contact you about the shipment as it took longer than I was told. While I like the picture I made a mistake and didn't realized that I bought such a small size. I had seen it in a restaurant and thought it only came in one size.

I ordered this print for my Mom's 100 birthday and gave it to her last week. She absolutely loves it! Especially since it's taken on her property which the Clausens lease and she knows right where it is. Thank you SO much!
Artist's Description
St. Bakhita was born in the Darfur region of Sudan, kidnapped as a young girl and sold into slavery. She was resold several times, beaten and physically mutilated. She was eventually sold to an Italian consul in 1883 who took her to Italy and gave her away to his friend Augusto Michieli. She became a babysitter to his children and accompanied them to their school, the Institute of the Catechumnes, run by the Canossian Sisters in Venice. She felt drawn to the Catholic church and became baptized and confirmed in 1890. When Michieli wanted to take Josephine back to Africa, she refused and the Sisters intervened, finding that since slavery was illegal in Italy, she had actually been free since 1885. She eventually joined the order and was forever forgiving toward her earlier captors because without them she would not have encountered Christ.

Jen worked as a Graphic Designer in the Silicon Valley where developing marketing communications materials helped push her from purely personal expression to full conversation. After a decade in that field, Jen left to pursue painting and raise her daughter. Everyday moments of faith, family and...
