What a wonderful image to use on a bed! It looks fabulous with a navy bed-skirt and pillow cases. Would highly recommend as a gift and would buy again for any reason (like when I get a bigger bed?). Buy with confidence!

Original Gouache portrait of Saint Pope John Paul II, former Polish cardinal Karol Jozef Wojtyla, elevated to the Papacy in 1978 and served the second longest Papal reign in history. He died in 2005 after serving 27 years as the
visible head of the Roman Catholic Church. He was the most traveled Pope in
history and is credited with helping end Communism in Poland along with U.S.
president, Ronald Reagan and Lech Walesa, Polish politician, union organizer
and founder of Solidarity. Pope John Paul II was canonized a saint in the
Catholic Church in 2014 after an exhaustive study of his background and
confirmation of two miracles credited directly to him, a necessary formality to
canonization.
