This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

We were disappointed that the name of the artist is cut off and not showing in full. We feel the name of the artist is an important part of it and would love to have it rectified

Artist's Description
"San Marco tower, Floating above the lagoon, Shining in the sun" - haiku, Lansdown 2011
San Marco and the Doge's palace are distinct architectural features of Venice. The image was taken from an original sketch with colours indicated in code to be developed into a divisional oil painting technique based on a yellowish-red hue.
To make the final painting more interesting, the colours used for the final painting were complimentary to the sketch. Although the tonal values remain the same, the final painting is practically a negative image of the original sketch. The key hue of the sketch was changed from blue to red–red-yellow.
