I live a fairly short distance from the Atlantic Ocean and yet I have few paintings of the coast and the beaches. These two paintings will start a new series.
About Robert Rohrich
Robert Rohrich began painting as a student the Cleveland Institute of Art as a watercolorist influenced by Winslow Homer. He began Plein-Air oil painting as a member of the Garrison Art Center located on the Hudson River in New York state. Now as a permanent resident of Florida his current body of work is devoted to the Florida Landscape. His subject matter is the east coast shoreline, marshes and nature preserves, and meadows threatened by development. He frequently paints at marines & local waterways and is always attracted to architectural subjects.
