In 2013 I bought my first dSLR camera. It had been a desire of mine since high school (when I took a film photography class) to have a camera that really let me learn, grow and explore my creative side. As an engineer I'm terribly left brained and tend to focus on the techniques and rules that make a good photograph and the mechanics of the hardware, but the same camera has the ability to exercise the right side of my brain.
