Description
Sand Fire by Nina Prommer
A water carrying truck is seen heading up the Little Tujunga road and driving through the flames as the fire jumped the road.
The Sand Fire started in the Santa Clarita Valley area (July 22, 2016) and has grown to more than 20,000 acres as it moved towards the Little Tujunga area where 400 animals had to be rescued and moved to safety from the Wildlife Waystation. Extreme heat and dry conditions did not make it easy to fight this fire.

This is a terrific shot Nina ~ too bad that it happened though, but you covered it beautifully!

So interesting shot-witnessing-document, Nina, yet frightening! Make one thinks how fragile environment is and how vulnerable human being is. l/f/v
