Again, the artist, John Boyd, takes fabulous pictures and paints awesome items, but this towel does not look like this picture. It is basically all one color and you can’t discern what it’s supposed to be.

For a bird loving friend it’s perfect.Made her smile

It didn't turn out as good as I expected, although it is still very nice. I suspect it's because it is so much larger than the original painting. The colors are not nearly as bright as the painting, that is they look faded.

I would like a refund. It’s not the color as shown I wanted Dk brown as described in the picture shown.

I would love to review this purchase; however, I did not receive it. I contacted you regarding the matter but have not had the courtesy of a reply. I would really appreciate a refund as the item was returned to you before I received it.

Artist's Description

When driving down the Pali coming back into Honolulu, traffic always seems to come to a stop right by the Sanju Pagoda in the Kyoto Gardens at Honolulu Memorial Park. I am always intrigued by the juxtaposition of this traditional Japanese structure right up against the cities skyscrapers. In Japanese culture, a pagoda is a sacred place of worship. Built in 1966, just 20 years after the Pearl Harbor attack, and modeled after the Hokke-ji Temple in Nara, Japan, it was built as symbol of the strengthened relationship between Japan and the United States. It was 119 feet tall when finished and was the largest pagoda in the United States at the time. The Sanju Pagoda was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004. About Susan Rissi Tregoning

I am the 8th photographer in the past 4 generations of my family. I guess you could say photography is in my blood; or maybe, that's really hypo in my veins! By the time I was 4 or 5 years old, I was standing on a stool in the darkroom just so I was tall enough to help my dad develop pictures. It was my job to move the prints from the hypo into the water bath. I went to college for interior design which was probably a huge shock for the family. After I graduated, I had a long successful career as an art buyer and designer for a large home furnishings company. Then 2006 came around with a major life change, my husband accepted a job traveling and I decided to put my career on hold to tag along. In the process, I found my "roots"...
