The Cruise to the beach is an intoxicating event. There's just nothing quite like it. The friends, the loud music, the horribly bad for you snacks; this is what it's all about. And then when you arrive there's the surf!
This is a reproduction fine art print of an original mixed media piece done on reclaimed wood.
Danny Phillip's art focuses on authenticity, age, and the historical relevance of objects in places. Specifically, he loves textures and layers. Using primarily recycled materials: magazines, paper and paints; all of his pieces are handmade in his Austin studio. As a self-taught artist, Danny has been focusing on mixed media and collage art and his work has been featured in galleries in Texas, along the East Coast and Australia. Danny is also co-owner of In Your Space Collaborative Arts, where he functions as art director leading crews to do wall effects, murals and cabinetry finishes.
