It doesn’t particularly matter where you’re going, because the destination isn’t necessarily what matters: it’s the time on the water, far, far away from the office, the traffic, and the phone.
(That latter part – getting away from the phone – is a self-imposed challenge for us nowadays, as we carry bits and pieces of our office and day to day obligations with us with our phones. And while many of the phones are described as “smart,” one has to wonder how smart it is of us, as free thinking humans, to chain ourselves down to answering every call or text, no matter who it is.)
