Scale

Sometimes there are wonders in your back yard (or within 2-3 hours of your backyard) that you fail to get to because they're out in the middle of nowhere and you never get around to it. Thankfully I finally made to Smith Rock in Terrebonne County and also Painted Hills near the Ochoco National Forest, both fascinating geologically and amazing to photograph. Smith Rock is the first US place to be rated 5.1+ for rock climbing and is an international rock climbing destination.
I titled this photograph "Scale" as the proportion of the people to the rock face suggested a sense of scale as well as for the climbing reference.
