This is a fantastic shower curtain. I owned at one time a 1928 American LaFrance almost identical to this one.Loved that fire engine and this great representation is such a joy as a reminder of the one I owned. Nee dmore like this one

Love this shower curtain! It’s brightened our guest bathroom beyond words. We were in Monet’s garden in 2005 and it brings a smile to my face every time I go in there.

This was our first purchase from the site and we love it! It arrived quickly. We wanted something different for the guest bath and this art combined two of my husband's favorite things.The curtain has a quality feel to it and the design is bright I wasn't sure of the color combination at first (orangey red, navy, turquoise and a touch of black) but it works! We've received many compliments and chuckles. My only regret was not being able to fit the words on without using a border - I was unsure of the colors, etc. Bottom line is that we love what we received!!! LOVE it!

At the time, she was fortunate enough to be chosen to be a student of Louis Sylvia, of New Bedford MA. A notable artist at that time listed in Who's Who as one of the top ten Marine Artists in the world. He was world famous for his paintings of Whaling Ships. Most painted from memories when he served on one starting when he was fifteen. The one he served on longest was the Morgan, based out of New Bedford.
His paintings are in museums like the Louvre, Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and New York, etc. The Coca-Cola company and NY Banks for years bought everyone he would sell for gifts at Christmas.
Nadine still paints a Whaler from time to time and sells them through a Gallery in Mystic Seaport where "The Morgan" is berthed.
