SEAGULL ON THE ATLANTIC SHORE by Lynn Bauer - The waters of the Atlantic Ocean are so pretty as they very in degrees of blue, aqua, and turquoise, contrasting with the blue skies above. The white caps of the waves and the billowy white clouds in the sky add the perfect contrast. This lone seagull seemed to be standing in awe of the beautiful scene before him, admiring it as much as I was! (Although, he was probably just looking at the water trying to spot his next meal!!) :-)

Wonderful picture, Lynn. The Ring-billed gull (Larus delawarensis) on the lower right serves as a nice anchor to the landscape. I also like the gull's footprints in sand.
