I was wondering around in one of the best known parks of Sedona while hubby was climbing the peak of a famous mountain on the other side of the park... I photographed everything that moved or stood still. Everything is different in Sedona... it is like being on another planet. Even the tree barks are red as they are dying. This is a tree bark on a wood stump that was cut for some reason ages ago. I was there because I found many critters around the stump, between the creases, and in the shade of the folds. I took some very interesting pictures right here--one red ant is actually on the middle of this picture but I did not notice that until I processed the photo in my studio.
