This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.

Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Artist's Description
Scanning electron micrograph (SEM), of a damaged & split end of a human head hair. Hair is a fibrous protein (keratin), which develops out of a tubular hair follicle in the epidermis of the skin. The shaft, the part visible, consists of three layers an outer layer or cuticle, which is scaly in normal hair but has been lost in this specimen. Beneath is the cortex containing hair colour pigments. The medulla forms the central core, which may be hollow. Hair cells are dead except for a layer at the base of the root where they divide to form new cells, pushing the older ones upward. Magnification X 185 at 35mm size, 1300 at 8x10-inch size.
