Description
White Sands National Monument in New Mexico is a magical place in any light, but never more so than at sunset. This alternately toned version of Sense of Scale has less cyan in the blues and more rusty browns in the sky than the popular original (which can be seen in my The Southwest - New Mexico gallery). I created the quieter version to work with the colors in my recently redecorated bedroom.

I like the earthy tones in this piece, I know it's New Mexico but reminds me so much of Southern California!

GREAT combination of shapes and colors. The two figures are a wonderful addition. F/L and my minimalism group POD for 1/4/23.

It conveys such a sense of tranquility and peace with it's soothing lines and colors. Almost magical.

This is FANTASTIC Nikolyn; shows a true sense of scale, aside from the fact that the composition itself is beautiful and artistic with the flowing lines and the mountains (or hills) in the background. Very inviting image.
