This fishing wharf located on the Seydistjordur Fiord caught my eye with the bright red buildings against the light blue sky, misty clouds and mountains with the last of the winter's snow. We had stopped at a rustic restaurant located among these buildings. What a lunch starting with an appetizer of rotten shark chased down a very strong liquor! That set the stage for enjoying a true Icelandic landscape. Beautiful!
I have always loved drawing, painting and photography; although, drawing and painting were my earliest love as a kid. In high school I took one art class my senior year under Miss Barbara Olson. She suggested that I consider taking an art major in college. My father had other ideas! As a result, this love was put aside until I was nearing retirement.
