Thank you so much, Kathy; while this is in black and white, it does have a magical, mysterious feel to it in its lush green :))

There's something peaceful, yet eery about the fog among the forest trees. Beautifully captured and love the black and white

Connie Handscomb replied:

Hi Emily! & thank you so much for your visit; actually the fog is not a fog ... while it looks like a heavy mist, it is really just another gradation of light captured in the forest, the monochrome moves from the lightest charcoal to a deeper black. And yes, it is very quiet, very peaceful in this place :))

Thank you, Nader! for featuring this image in Exploration Photography :))

I bought this as a gift. I love it! Hope the receiver loves it too!

Wow - I didn't realise it was going to be that big! It's a gift for a young member of the family - I think he'll be thrilled as he's a tractor fanatic at 6 years old. A practical gift too. The towel has a smoother upper side so it'll be more comfortable to sit on at the beach. It seems to have a thick absorbent power so no usual skinny beach towel.

very nice, love the colour not keen on the white tastle border but i like it, i'm going to use it as blanket for my hamock,

Perfect gift for my college niece!!! They love to have their towels for spring break! Highly recommend. I recently bought round beach towels at a major retailer. The quality from fineartamerica far surpasses it! The artwork on the towel is vibrant and attractive. Love it!

Artist's Description

One of my wishes is that those dark trees, so old and firm they scarcely show the breeze, Were not, as 'twere, the merest mask of gloom, But stretched away unto the edge of doom. I should not be withheld but that some day Into their vastness I should steal away, Fearless of ever finding open land, Or highway where the slow wheel pours the sand. I do not see why I should e'er turn back, Or those should not set forth upon my track To overtake me, who should miss me here And long to know if still I held them dear. They would not find me change from him they knew -- Only more sure of all I thought was true. ~ Robert Frost; Into My Own * ----------------------------- * Old, old trees ... some I understand are about 500 years old .... captured in Lighthouse Park, West Vancouver by the sea ... * ----------------------------- * ♥ Heartfelt Gratitude to FAA groups for featuring this image : The Grayscale Outdoors Black...
