About Stefan Johnson
I am Stefan Johnson, mainly a self taught artist. I have had formal training to some degree, but academically I employ my art in my anthropological work at Michigan State University where I am currently in the graduate program. I have used different media over the years such as, acrylic, oils, and sculpture (multi-media), and currently work with watercolor and ink in a unique style that people often mistake for other mediums. My work focuses around North American indigenous themes that express the interconnected relationships of humans to the other-than-human beings and the landscape.
