Description
This image was inspired by a Bengali poem which argues what good Life is for a sufferer, tormented by life itself. Picked by circumstances and people like a hungry pack of wolves, a man wallows thru the sands of time like a beast, only to find Death's final healing touch. There's no shame in welcoming death's balmy touch for him, for it is here that he finally finds peace and serenity which had eluded him when he was alive. Sharks hover around his bed to gather the spoils of their lifelong torment, and the trusty dog sleeps by the his master's bedside standing guard until the very last breath. Slowly the bed hovers into the setting sun as ominous clouds gather in the sky, denoting the rite of passage.

My twin brother was an artist and this particular piece is comforting, soothing to me as my twin painted like this. Glad you think like you do and see what you do.

Jeanette, I don't know what happened to your brother but your comment moved my heart and filled with grateful sadness. This is what inspires me 2 paint!
