Thank you Maneesh!

Its so beautiful.....

Thank you Jane! Wow. :-D I love lighthouses!

This is a lovely nostalgic piece! You are a bonafide time traveler! Thank you for taking me with you to this place!

Thanks Dan. ;-D The details are what is important...regardless of who gets credit.

Thanks Anne- Nice. Is it God, or the Devil they say lives in the details? Depends on who you're talking too I guess. Great work! D

Thanks Bill! Your nautical paintings are excellent!

Fantastic! I wouldn't have the patience to do what you do. You are very talented. I really captured this light house, being from CT I am very familiar with Sheffield lighthouse. Bill

Thank you so much for your gracious comments, Lifang. :-D

Hi Linda. Thanks for the nice comments this morning. This particular study took a lot of time. Glad you like it. :-)

And another WOOOOOOW you have been busy making great paintings, lots of new ones since I checked last!! Bravo

Hi Justyna. Thanks for commenting again on this particular work. Painting digitally is not so different as painting with canvas and easel. The artist must devote time and effort to make a suitable rendering. Because of my physical limitations, this is how I must create...but I must create. :-)

woooow...a lot of work...60 hours...you must love it....i would not be able to do it.....congratulations....good works

Hi Justyna. Thank you for the nice comment. This particular work has about 60 hours devoted to it.

wow ...very detailed...how many time do you need to do a digital painting like this?...it would take me my whole life!!!!

This was a gift to a person who is restoring a prairie. This year she has 14 herons gathering on the banks of the Little Sioux River. The tote bag was well received.

Artist's Description

This lighthouse was nearly destroyed but through the hardwork of many people, it was brought back from the brink and is now standing proud and beautiful, once more. Every piece of art in my gallery is original; not scanned; not a photograph. Using only the computer mouse, I draw every line, add every bit of shading, highlights, blending, and refining to finish a piece. All of the art is started in Microsoft Paintbrush. The finishing process is done using Photoshop Elements. Every piece is printed using only the finest of professional materials available, by a professional printing house. Rigorous quality control is employed to guarantee a satisfactory work of fine art. Fine canvas and museum-quality signed, numbered and authenticated paper prints are available from the gallery.

About Anne Norskog

Art is in the eye of the beholder. I will not write in the third person here. That sounds pretentious and, most of the time, inaccurate. Being in the last third of my life, it becomes clear good health is the finest gift possible. Again, nature provides the most beautiful inspirations. Walk into your own garden. Stroll a beach or a path in the woods. Watch the sun and clouds or a kitten playing with a piece of string. Pay attention to the faces you see...they each tell their own story. Create something wonderful that has a piece of your own heart on it. The emotions that drive us human beings also drive our art. The viewer is respectfully reminded my works are copyright protected. Please visit me often. Kindest...
