I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.
Artist's Description
After sunset, a 20-second exposure yields a surreal, abstract view of the breaking waves on a shell-covered shore on Bonita Beach, between Naples and Fort Myers, on the Gulf Coast of South Florida. To enhance depth of field and maximize sharpness of each individual shell, a tilt-shift lens and heavy tripod were used. The result is a photo which juxtaposes the softness of the breaking waves with the detailed view of the shells, sand, and buildings in the distance, with this contrast extending all the way to the distant Naples skyline. Hand-signed prints on a variety of media are available. Contact the artist directly via email for more details.
About Adam Pender
Adam is a self-taught photographer who started taking pictures on a winter camping trip in northern Minnesota. Now based out of Denver, with frequent travel, his photographic portfolio has been expanded beyond fine art landscapes to include a variety of other subject matter from coast to coast and beyond. His photography continues to be fueled by his love of adventure and exploration, and frequently reflects his unique view of the world around him.
