Karen Cattel is a special artist and her whimsical art looks great on the two sturdy totes I purchased. One is a gift for a friend and the other is for me. I love them.

I so appreciate being able to have this old-fashioned outdoor dinner scene on a tote bag. It is adorable. Thank you for making it available.

I noted that the color came out differently on this size of bag, it is distinctly more purple. I happen to love that color also--the larger size has perfect color, exactly like the photo. I love both of my bags.

We arrived late on an April evening at Skyland Resort in Shenandoah National Park, Virginia. I awoke early and just couldn't resist taking a peek out my window to see what the view was, and when I saw the moon setting over the ridge...and some snow...I couldn't help myself! I just had to get out on the balcony with my camera! Skyland Resort is at mile 41.7 and 42.5 on Skyline Drive, at an elevation of 3680 feet. This is the highest elevation along Skyline Drive. Skyland Resort was established in 1888 as the perfect spot for a private vacation retreat. It was built by George Freeman Pollock, a young Washington, DC man whose father owned a great deal of the land surrounding the resort. Skyland was intended to be a place where the affluent people from major cities would come to relax and recreate. Early in its life, it was advertised as a dude ranch. When it opened, transportation was by horse or wagon. Around 1931, it was taken over by the Shenandoah National Park, and the Skyline Drive...

Although travel and photography were dual interests from a young age, the coming of the digital camera provided undreamed of opportunities and unleashed previously untapped creativity. My photographic goal is to travel the world in a curious yet respectful way, taking the time to see and understand the unique story of each place I visit. Wherever I go I want to walk every street, hike every trail, ride the bus or metro, climb every tower, walk around and through every monument, and then do it all over again when the light changes. In every place, light, mood, color, and...
