Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

This could be the strangest coincidence in the history of pop music.

Paul McCartney was inspired to write the verses of “She’s Leaving Home” after reading an article in the British tabloid Daily Mirror about Melanie Coe, a teenage runaway. But bizarrely enough, Paul had actually met Melanie four years earlier. In 1963, The Beatles appeared on the pop music show Ready Steady Go!, and Paul judged a song miming competition in which Melanie took part. Four girls danced and lip-synced to Brenda Lee’s “Let’s Jump the Broomstick”, and Paul chose Melanie as the winner (Excerpts from the programme are pictured in the upper left corner).
In the following years, Melanie frequented London clubs and would rub shoulders with acts like The Beatles (again), The Rolling Stones, and The Hollies. She became a fashionable London socialite who would often dance the night away and go home with strange men, much to the chagrin of her parents. One day her mother decided that she had ha...

Jonathan Morrill is a Hollywood-based artist. His acrylic works of many a tinsel-town icon have graced the walls of La-La Land's great haunts, including Hollywood Forever Cemetery, where he appears as himself in the HBO documentary; "The Young and The Dead" (2000), painting an over-sized portrait of Rudolph Valentino as the "The Son of The Sheik", mere yards away from the icons final resting place. The piece is featured in Tracy Ryan Terhune's book 'Valentino Forever' (AuthorHouse, 2004) In 2019, that same 10' x 10' acrylic portrait continues to be displayed at the annual Valentino memorial.
