It was a gift and my friend LOVES it!

Looks great on our wall

July 21st, 2018

I hung my picture above my desk in my kitchen. I can look at it from all angles in my kitchen, dining room and living room. I have a Tiffany lamp on my desk which, when lit, it lights up the clouds in the painting. This means so much to me as my son died suddenly at age 43 this year. I love this painting and will cherish it forever. The man looks like my son in Jesus' arms...

Very disappointed. Canvas was too dark. We felt that fine art should have used some judgement to advise us the print was not usable. Unfortunately the 30 day guarantee doesn’t cover shipping, so it cost us over $70 to ship back.

Not great. Just looks like a photoshopped cow in a photocopy of a painting. Definitely will not be hanging it in the house.

Artist's Description

This spring was one of my early "discoveries" when I started exploring the freshwater springs of Florida over two decades ago. The area around Rainbow Springs has been inhabited by humans for more than 10,000 years. It's crystal clear, 72 degree water is abundant with fish and wildlife. It became a tourist attraction in the 1930's, and during it's peak in the 1960's, offered glass-bottomed boat tours and even submarine rides. The first magnitude spring produces between 400-600 million gallons of water per day, fourth in volume in the state. The spring water is discharged through several vents forming the headwaters of the Rainbow River. The spring is located five miles north of Dunnellon, Florida.

Chris Kusik

Chris was born in southern Delaware in 1960. As a teenager he began studying maps of Florida and dreamed of exploring the state and it’s natural treasures. This led to an interest in photography and it’s ability to document his adventures. He also developed an interest in astronomy. He studied the work of Ansel Adams and his “zone” system as well as the works of the his colleges in the “f 64 club” of art photographers. It became apparent that researching the accomplishments of painters would also be beneficial. Chris began to establish his own style, a fusion of art and...
