Absolutely loved my print. The depth and details are spectacular and the quality of the print is fantastic. I framed this in a white frame and didn't have the exact size handy so kept the lower space intentionally open. I love how it came out.

I bought this for a friend who lived in France for many years. Now that she is back in the states she misses France her favorite country. When I spoke with her on the phone she absolutely loved it. It showed all the places she lived or visited. She loved that it had an antique flair. She is getting it framed when she can. This my gift for her to bring up her spirits. She has stage 4 cancer. We live in 2 different cities & are comrades & would do anything for each other. When I saw it in the website I knew I had to buy it. Great work. A little break from the bird series - I've a few more to post at a later date but thought it was time to shift gears for a bit.
This image was taken in Bayou La Batre, not that far from where I used to live for about 20 years. Seeing it, I was reminded of a song I used to hear on the radio when I was very young "Shrimp Boats Is A-Comin' " sung by Jo Stafford - a big hit in 1951. [I think I was born in the wrong generation - I adore the music of the 40s and 50s and have all of Stafford's many hits]. Some of you may remember or perhaps have heard it on a PBS retrospective or something!
