Sibyl.
The sibyl is a character from Greek and Roman mythology. It is a prophetess, sometimes inspired by Apollo, capable of knowing the future. According to some traditions, there was a young daughter of the Dárdano Trojan and Neso who was gifted with the gift of prophecy and had a great reputation as a fortune teller.
The oracle is the intermediary between the god and the faithful who makes the consultation.
Message or response that the pythonesses and priests gave in the name of the gods to the queries and requests that the faithful made to them.
The priests and priestesses answered the questions in the temple in an enigmatic way and full of symbolisms.
Currently these characters still exist as spiritual pastors, fortune tellers, spiritualists, card casters or astrologers.
