Description
From a series of outcomes exploring the idea of a two by two connective tile. Each component is a square with two connection points on each side. The enquiry explores the unique options for connecting these points, one to one other. This variation superimposes these ideas onto REVAD’s colour alphabet, and then explores the different combinations offered by using black and/or white lines to define the connections. The enquiry then goes on to make larger constructions using the tiles as components. In this instance the construction is a concept for an overlay wall installation with a metal print mounted over a paper print.
