Description

The tiger is the largest living cat species.

They are most recognizable for their dark vertical stripes on orange-brown fur with a lighter underside.

Even though this tiger looks as if he is having a siesta, they can run up to 40 mph.

In this Pastel painting, I used multiple colors of pan pastels, soft pastels, and pastel pencils.

The multiple layers created soft fur with beautiful yellows, oranges, and browns.

The background has a blurred effect to make the tiger pop off the drawing surface.
