"Silk Peonies - Kimono Series"
A digital soft pastel painting on a cotton paper canvas of the beautiful embroidered deep coral red peonies that adorn a vintage silk Japanese screen that sits in my dining room. I used indigo blue, coral red, khaki green and beige for my floral artwork, which is based on my original photograph, though I took liberties with the actual colors... my screen is gray silk with orange peonies!
