I have been following the research into the Shroud of Turin for the last 40 years. I was so happy that Ray Downing made a portrait based upon the Shroud. I was very struck by the beauty and sensitivity of the portrait. I have it hanging in my living room right where I can see it most often every day. I bought the portrait on wood and am very happy with it. Thank you, Mr. Downing, for bringing this to the attention of so many people.

About Lucie Bilodeau

Lucie Bilodeau was born in Montreal, Canada, in May 1967. After spending 28 years living in the United States, she moved back to Canada in 2020. She has been making a living as a professional artist since 1993. She expressed her first serious interest in art when she was seven years old. Yes, he was. The painting was a commission. I sent a selection of beautiful pictures I took of that lion that I could used as references to create a painting and I sent the picture of the lion with his tongue out as a joke. It turned out that my client selected that image for his portrait. :-)
