I bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loved it. The tuxedo cat painting was beautifully done. The blue and purple background was perfect to showcase the artist rendering of the cat.

Artist's Description

During my student days at Baylor--a few decades back--I found the silos of Brazos Valley Cotton Oil Company captivating. The imposing twin silos sat on the eastern edge of downtown Waco, near First Baptist Church. After years of disuse the old plant is being re-purposed for commercial use--part of Waco's renaissance as a tourist destination.

The old silos of the Brazos Valley Cotton Oil Company remind visitors of Waco's past in the cotton industry. The city on the banks of the Brazos River, known today for Baylor University, the birth of Dr. Pepper, and fixing up old homes, was once hailed as the "King of Cotton." The silos were transformed in 2015 and are now arguably Waco's most significant tourist attraction.
This images of the vintage industrial silos and signage is processed to draw out the classic lines of the location's architectural heritage.
