About Lucienne Van Leijen
My name is Lucienne van Leijen, I live in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Drawing, painting, trying out all kinds of artistic techniques, has always been a part of me. And creating portraits (of women) was always the main thing. Why, I don't know. I stopped asking myself. It just seems to work that way for me. My biography will not be very official. And for now, really short :-)) Not an impressive list of exhibitions and sales. I will say however, that I devote all my time to art these days. After searching for a long long time, teaching art, life-coaching, experiencing life in general, being a mother, and more things, creating and making art has become the main thing. I am so so happy with that, and very greatful. Being able to live of it...
