\"Singing His Praises\" was inspired by old time memories of church choirs in the deep south. I remember the colorful choir robes and flamboyant dress of the time. The colors that give a sense of serenity, pastel shades of orange yellows, light blues, and blue greens dominate the piece along with burnt oranges and deep purples. It was my intent to portray the harmony and peace we experience in church by conveying harmony of colors and composition. Everything about this piece is uplifting and joyful. Heads lifted, mouths open, voices raised in \"Sing in\' His Praises\".
