As a practicing outdoor and nature photographer for 30 years, I am always reflecting on Nature. Utah has been my home for most of my life and much of my photography reflects the diversity of the landscape in this part of the West. Like so many nature photographers I am primarily self-taught. With an academic background in British and American literature, I receive inspiration from the writings of Henry David Thoreau, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Franz Kafka, Charles Dickens, Walt Whitman, and many others who have written so eloquently about the beauty of the natural world. My goal is to share some of this beauty through my photography.
